Some believe the Palin name originated in Wales, and some believe it was from Normandy. What we are sure of is that more than four hundred years ago, our ancestors lived in Cheshire. Many of our branches have moved throughout the United Kingdom and some have emigrated to Canada, United States, Africa and Australia.

Every once in a while I come across some thing that is priceless. This was found in the Cheshire Observer October 23, 1937.
